At Praetorian Defense we work with beginning shooters, ardent gun owners and skilled professionals to become safer, more competent, and more confident shooters. The instruction Praetorian Defense’s staff provides is specifically tailored, doctrinally driven, reality-based, and delivered by Special Forces veterans who have deployed globally in combat as well as training military, paramilitary, law enforcement, and government agencies in a variety of Firearms, Tactical, Counter Asymmetric Threat and Armorer courses. We are dedicated to instilling professionalism, responsibility, and accountability among all firearms owners/users through training and education.
The Praetorian Defense offers civilian firearms and security courses in an encouraging, low stress, focused and reality-based learning environment by analysis of the individual client’s needs. Our performance-based training approach, operational and proven training experience come together in each training session and rounds fired to increase your confidence, capabilities, and trust in Praetorian Defense Inc.
We currently offer several pistol and rifle courses at venues in the area, both indoor and outdoor. We can travel to other hosting ranges in Northeast Florida and beyond based on requests. Most scheduled courses are conducted on weekends. For any reason you do not or cannot attend a full or scheduled course we offer existing courses as Individual private sessions as requested. We also offer Tailored private and group courses and courses requiring zero live ammunition for those locations where live fire is restricted, costs are restrictive or live fire is not required for the particular skillset learning process.
